Adoption Days & Events
Once or twice a month, Lab Rescue of the LRCP hosts adoption events. These events offer a great way for many applicants to come and visit with several dogs at one time. We are always in need of volunteers to assist with taking care of or handling the labs while they wait to meet their new families, work some of the tables or generally pitch in with what ever is needed.

Become an Adoption Coordinator
One of the most critical roles in Lab Rescue is being part of our team of Adoption Coordinators (AC) who match prospective families with dogs in need of homes. It is a very rewarding effort. Adoption Coordinators build happy families. Upon receiving an application an Adoption Coordinator reaches out to a family for an interview to discuss their family and requirements. Once approved, an AC sends potential Labs to the family and helps set up a meet and greet and ultimately collects the contract and fee. Some Adoption Coordinators attend adoption events as well and will do interviews and matching onsite.
If you enjoy talking with people about Labs, this role might be a great fit for you.
