Lab Rescue’s Annual Online Auction will be held from October 24 - 29! The Auction is our 2nd biggest fundraiser, and our goal this year is to raise $80,000 to provide veterinary care for the hundreds of dogs that come into the Rescue’s care. We need your help. We hope you will consider supporting this event with a tax-deductible donation of perhaps a gift card; new items for dogs (toys, collars/leashes, harnesses, treats); new items that would appeal to Lab lovers, dog lovers, and animal lovers; hand-crafted items like quilts and afghans; holiday-themed items (since the auction is just a couple months before the winter holidays); vacations (maybe you have a vacation home or timeshare you’d like to donate); etc. If you are unsure of what to donate, please send an email to Carol some ideas and the drop-off location.

 

We are hoping to have all donations in hand by Friday, October 18, so that the auction team has time to photograph and list the items online.

 

Also, if you have some spare time and would like to help solicit donations, we can really use the help! It’s as easy as taking the letter to a few local businesses and asking if they’d consider supporting the auction and the rescue’s lifesaving efforts with an auction donation. Let Carol know if you are interested in helping, and she will send you the donation letter.
